The ABLE family would like to send our heartfelt congratulations to Aaliyah Edwards (daughter of our new president Jacqueline Edwards) for her outstanding achievement being named to the 2019 Senior Women’s National Basket Ball Team. Aaliyah will be one of 12 players selected to play in a five game European exhibition tour in Belgium and Great Britain. What is just as impressive is that Aaliyah is the youngest player on the squad at the tender age of 16yrs.

Aaliyah, just like her mother is a shining example of what is achievable when we as a community invest in "US."  We rise and as we do so we lift. We see Aaliyah as a beacon within our ABLE community and celebrate her success as another indicator that dreams are possible when we dare to plan, prepare, execute and persevere.

Thank you, Jacqueline, for setting the example that has led to Aaliyah adding to our lineage of success and giving us just a little bit more to cheer for.
