“30 Years of Advocacy and Action"

In October of this year, the Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.) will proudly celebrate our 30-year history of service to our members, our community, and our profession. The theme of the event is “30 Years of Advocacy and Action.” The keynote speaker will be one of A.B.L.E’s founding members, David Mitchell, Assistant Deputy Minister of Youth Justice Services, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. The Emcees will be Dwight Drummond, host of CBC Toronto News at Six and Natasha Ramsahai, Meteorologist for CityNews 680 and Breakfast Television.

We will celebrate this significant milestone with the hosting of our Anniversary Scholarship Awards Gala. The gala will be presented on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Brampton at the Pearson Convention Centre with the evening commencing at 6 pm and hosted by Chief Nishan Duraiappah, Peel Regional Police Service.

Please join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion by honouring our 2022 scholarship and award recipients.
